The WhimsWalls application utilizes standard Android platform services:
- Google Play Services: Manages app installation, app updates, and platform security.
- Google AdMob: May provide optional rewarded ads to unlock selected featured wallpapers. AdMob operates under Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Storage & Offline Caching
When you preview or apply a wallpaper, image data is stored temporarily in your device's local app storage cache. You may clear this cache at any time through your Android system settings under Apps > WhimsWalls > Storage.
5. Website Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
The WhimsWalls website (www.whimswalls.com) uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Google Consent Mode to collect anonymous, aggregated traffic statistics (such as page visits, device categories, and download button interactions). This data helps us understand how visitors discover the app and optimize user experience. Google Analytics operates without collecting personally identifiable information.
